A magnet for young professionals, Austin is a technological, live music, cultural and barbecue mecca whose unofficial slogan is "Keep Austin weird."
1. It’s Austin! There is certainly no better place to apply your journalism skills than the dubbed “Weird City” of the U.S. From its 250 music venues to the 1.5 million bats peppering the skyline at dusk, this town has stories just waiting to be discovered.
2. Austin’s convention has all the tricks, tips and treats to make your Halloween memorable! Candy is great but what’s sweeter than taking home a whole new tool-kit of abilities? With 300+ learning sessions and hands-on workshops, you can gain a variety of valuable skills and resources from Austin’s convention.
3. Come to connect! Austin is a great place to not only spot a celebrity, but, at this year’s convention, meet up and chat with high-profile keynote speakers and vendors. Austin’s convention gives attendees a chance to come together, share ideas and have a good time this fall!
